Formed on the 6th April 1957 as a Partnership the company still trades under the same format but as Precision Pipework Limited at our new Horn Hill premises. While the company retains the same name the business has changed dramatically from pipe bending and marine pipe fitting to a company totally committed to pumps and pumping equipment.

As part of normal work the company had always been involved with sizing, selection and fitting of pumps and pumping equipment and had noticed the lack of good specialized information, service and supply of pumping equipment locally. The purchase of pumps for sale from stock raised a few eyebrows!.

Our activities in pumping did not go without notice by our "competitors", who obviously realised that our realistic pricing policy left them well behind in sales to the extent that they sold off their stock........to us!. Our policy in respect of stockholding has been to continually increase the ranges and types as a self-financing operation to enable our prices to be totally competitive.

To compliment our extensive pump stock we took ancillary equipment into stock, which will be explained in detail in this web site. The range of services offered do not stop at sales of equipment but encompasses servicing, repair and installation by our own engineers. When dealing with our company you are not just buying a "product from a box", you are benefiting from a combined total of more than 120 years practical experience in pumps and fluid transfer.

Enquiries are all dealt with a view to ensuring that the client is given the best option (s) that our experience can devise and this includes assessment of future spares, replacement and running costs. Quality of Service is our aim and ultimately we will seek accreditation but in the interim period all clients may be assured that our quality management system has long been in place to ensure traceability, replaceability and good record keeping, as long if not longer than most accredited systems.
